Playing and Pausing our Animations!
In this lesson we learn how to add play and pause features to you animations. It will be your first time inserting code to a flash project.
You need to copy and paste this code into your flash action script. I will show you where during the lesson.
stop();
// basic navigation
stopBtn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onStopClick, false, 0, true);
playBtn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, onPlayClick, false, 0, true);
function onStopClick(evt:MouseEvent):void {
stop();
}
function onPlayClick(evt:MouseEvent):void {
play();
}
And the result of this code will allow us to create some thing like the animation below!
